Our Story.
We are a humble West Auckland company founded by Michael Engel in 1990.
In the early days, we were originally a service provider only, our primary function being the application of polymer resins to bar tops, tables, river tables, and flooring in the hospitality industry.
With growing success, we expanded to manufacturing our resin systems for the trade and general public partnering with successful furniture makers, artists, and architects along the way.
In partnering our products with key NZ businesses over the last 30 years we have been able to lead the charge in promoting swamp kauri as a beautiful, and interesting addition to homes across New Zealand making us very proud to be a part of such great New Zealand history.
Michael and his team have a love for teaching and take it upon themselves to educate and train New Zealanders in the woodworking sector, from the young person starting out to Maori carvers coating their work, we offer a wide range of classes and all the help you could need.
Not one week is the same with projects ranging from large hospitality projects, speaking at woodturners guilds, flooring projects for breweries, art installations across the country, and bespoke one-off furniture designs.
We are dedicated to helping and striving for perfection. Our resins can be used for commercial, industrial, and residential applications.
